Biography

 

 

   I was born in 1973 in Daejeon, Korea. After graduating from the Department of Business Administration in 1998, I started photography in earnest from 2005. In 2020, I started my master's degree in photography design because I wanted to study more about photography.

   While working as a commercial photographer, I became interested in portrait photography and tried to express the inner side of human beings. After I started my work called 'Picture of a Faceless Person', I tried to express myself rather than the external expression of a character through the 'Essence of Humanity' series. I have recently focused on revealing the pain and feelings of 'emotional workers'.

 

 

 

  1973년 대한민국 대전에서 태어났다. 1998년에 경영학과를 졸업하고 뒤늦게 2005년부터 본격적으로 사진에 입문하였다. 2020년에는 사진에 대해 더 연구하고 싶어서 사진 디자인 석사과정을 시작했다.

 

  상업 사진작가로 활동하다가 인물 사진에 관심을 갖게 되었고, 인간의 내적인 면을 표현하고자 노력했다. ‘얼굴 없는 인물 사진’ 이라는 작품활동을 시작한 후 ‘인간의 본질’ 시리즈를 통해 인물의 외적 표현보다는 내적 표현을 시도하는 계기가 되었다. 최근에는 ‘감정 노동자’ 들의 고통과 마음을 드러내는데 초점을 맞추고 있다.
